Charity Auction Offers Round of Golf with Nicklaus

TORONTO -- As part of an exhibition at Prince Edward Island this summer, Jack Nicklaus will play a practice round at the Dundarave Golf Course with the highest bidder in a charity auction.
The proceeds will go to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
A spot in Nicklaus' pro-am foursome on June 19 was donated by 'Making the Connection', which is sponsoring the two-day exhibition featuring Nicklaus and Tom Watson.
The silent auction started Thursday with an opening bid of $12,000.
'I am looking forward to joining my friend Tom Watson for the match at P.E.I. in June, and now we have an even greater way to raise additional funds for the event's charity,' Nicklaus said.
The auction closes May 2.
