Darkness Suspends Mallorca Classic

European TourMALLORCA, Spain -- Robert-Jan Derksen of the Netherlands and Jean-Francois Lucquin of France shot 5-under 65s on Friday to share the lead in the Mallorca Classic, with 54 players left on the course when the second round was suspended by darkness.

Defending champion Niclas Fasth (70) was another shot back, and Spanish star Sergio Garcia -- the 2004 champion and runner-up the last two years -- was 3-under with nine holes left when play was stopped.
Thunderstorms halted the first round Thursday with 60 players still on the course.
The top 60 players on the money list after the tournament will be eligible for the season-ending Volvo Masters next week at Valderrama.
