Dinwiddie, Van der Walt lead in France after Day 2


SAINT-OMER, France – Robert Dinwiddie shot a 5-under 66 on Friday to share the lead with Tjaart van der Walt of South Africa after the second round of the European Tour’s Najeti Hotels Open.

The Englishman had a bogey-free round to join Van der Walt (71), the overnight leader, at 4-under 138. Dinwiddie also led after the second round of the 2010 Saint-Omer Open, finishing second that year.

Victor Riu (71), Chris Hanson (68) and Simon Wakefield (68) are a stroke back. Seve Benson of England shot a 65 for the best round of the day to move into a tie for sixth place.
