Fog delays Abu Dhabi Round 2 by nearly three hours


ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates – The start of the second round of the Abu Dhabi Championship was delayed by nearly three hours because of fog.

Play began at 10:05 a.m. local time (1:05 a.m. ET). It is likely the second round will carry over to Saturday.

American amateur Bryson DeChambeau held a one-stroke lead after an 8-under 64 in the first round, with Henrik Stenson alone in second place and Rory McIlroy one of two players two shots back. Top-ranked Jordan Spieth is four shots off the lead.
