Haas Duo Committed to Play in MCI Heritage

Father and son Jay and Bill Haas both have agreed to play in this year's MCI Heritage golf tournament.
Other fathers and sons have played in the tournament, but not in the same year.
Jay Haas has been playing in the Harbour Town event since 1977.
Bill Haas, 22, was the medalist and a semifinalist at the 2002 U.S. Amateur. He also played the PGA Tour on a limited basis this past year. He'll play in the MCI Heritage with a sponsor's exemption.
Other players committed to this year's event, set for April 11-17 at Harbour Town Golf Links, include Davis Love III, Nick Price, Bob Tway, Glen Day, Bernhard Langer and Jose Coceres.
This year's purse has been increased to $5.2 million, with the winner receiving $936,000.
