Harrington to Play Spoiler

PGA Tour (75x100)PALM HARBOR, Fla. -- Jesper Parnevik and Tag Ridings have to wait one week to see if their crucial spots on the money list hold up.
The Chrysler Championship was the final full-field tournament of the year. It usually determined the money list beyond the top 30, who are eligible for the Tour Championship next week in Atlanta.
The top 40 get into the Masters. More importantly, the top 125 get their tour card next year. Parnevik finished at No. 40 on the money list, while Ridings was at No. 125.
But that could change if Padraig Harrington wins the Tour Championship.
Harrington is not a PGA Tour member, but he is eligible for the Tour Championship because his earnings -- almost $2.2 million -- are enough to place him within the top 30. He can become a PGA Tour member next year, but his earnings will not show up on the money list until the season is over.
However, a victory at East Lake would instantly make Harrington a PGA Tour member, and his name would show up on the money list. That would knock everyone down one spot when the final money list is published.
