Hawaii 2-0 Annika Looking for Second Title


2007 Fields OpenKAPOLEI, Hawaii -- Fresh off her first win in more than 17 months, Annika Sorenstam will make her first appearance at the Fields Open this week.
Sorenstam shot a 69 last Saturday to beat Laura Diaz, Jane Park and Russy Gulyanamitta at the SBS Open at Turtle Bay, her first win since the State Farm Classic in October 2006.
The victory moved Sorenstam two places forward in the world rankings to No. 2, behind only Lorena Ochoa, who has not played yet this season.
Stacy Prammanasudh won last year's Field Open with rounds of 66, 68 and 68, her second victory on the LPGA Tour. Meena Lee claimed the first Fields Open in a playoff over Seon Hwa Lee.
The GOLF CHANNEL will have coverage of all three rounds this week, the second week in a row the LPGA will play Thursday through Saturday.
Next week is the HSBC Women's Champions, an inaugural tournament in Singapore where Ochoa is scheduled to make her season debut.
