Long, the assistant professional at Southshore Golf Club in Henderson, Nevada, made the turn at even par thanks to a pair of birdies and a pair of bogeys. He traded birdies and bogeys from the 11th, then double-bogeyed the 15th and bogeyed 16.
Morin, the assistant professional at The Falls Country Club in Lake Worth, Florida, dropped shots at one and four, but made up for one of the lost shots with a birdie at the par-5 seventh. He polished off his round with three bogeys in his last five holes, but still shares the lead.
Rich Steinmetz (77), Brett Melton (72), Ron Philo, Jr. (74), Tad Halloway (75), Darrell Kestner (77) and Matt Seitz (73) are knotted in ninth place at 3-over-par 147.
