Nicklaus to Play in Canadian Skins Game

VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- Jack Nicklaus will play in the $360,000 Telus Skins Game this summer at the course he designed in Whistler, British Columbia.
The Golden Bear will be joined by Stephen Ames, Vijay Singh and John Daly at the July 4-5 event, which comes one week before Nicklaus is slated to play in his final British Open at St. Andrews.
'I've always enjoyed my long association with Canada and its people, whether it be the decades I competed in the Canadian Open, designing golf courses, or just coming up with Barbara and the family to fish,' Nicklaus said in a statement Tuesday.
'Nicklaus North is a fabulous course in a beautiful setting. I think it will be a good test for Vijay, John, Stephen and certainly myself.'
It will mark Nicklaus' third appearance in the Canadian Skins Game.
