Ozaki, who is looking for his first win in 27 events on the Japanese tour this season, knocked down 10 birdies against a lone bogey at the Southern Links golf club to lead Lam Chih Bing and Hiroshi Goda of Singapore, who both shot 65.
``I've put a lot of pressure on myself this season,'' said Ozaki. ``But I'm not going to worry too much about it and am already looking forward to next year.''
South Korea's Ted Oh was a further stroke back at 66 along with four others.
The four-day, $900,000 event is co-sanctioned by the Asian PGA and the Japan Golf Tour Organization.
