NEW DELHI -- India's Jyoti Randhawa made a birdie on the second playoff hole to beat compatriot Shiv Shankar Prasad Chowrasia and win his second Indian Open title on Monday.

Randhawa and Chowrasia, who were tied at 18-under 270 on Sunday, missed birdie putts on the first playoff hole before play was suspended due to darkness.

Randhawa converted an easy two-foot birdie on the par-5 18th after Chowrasia missed his eight-foot birdie attempt.

It was Randhawa's first Indian Open title since 2000 and first victory overall since the Volvo Masters of Asia in December 2004.

Randhawa is now 14th on the Asian Tour's UBS Order of Merit, while Chowrasia improved to 36th.
