Beneath the plaid and argyle, that's Snoop Dogg, the youthful rapper and felon, and Lee Iacocca, the 80-year-old former Chrysler chief.
The ads tout Chrysler's latest pricing program, which lets consumers pay the employee price for most new cars. The program had been scheduled to end Monday, but Chrysler is extending it indefinitely after seeing sales jump 32 percent last month.
A Chrysler spokeswoman doesn't find the pairing odd, and says Iacocca and Dogg have at least one thing in common: 'They're both total car guys.'
