Tiger Cubs on the Way

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. -- Now that he's married, Tiger Woods says it won't be long before he starts a family.

'I don't want to be an old father,' Woods said Thursday. 'I still want to be young. We're not going to wait too long.'

Woods, who turns 29 at the end of the month, married Swedish nanny Elin Nordegren on Oct. 5 in Barbados after they dated for about two years. Nordegren will be 25 on Jan. 1.

Woods did not say when they planned to have children, but that he wanted more than one.

'For me, it will be bigger than it will for Elin because she's had siblings,' Woods said. 'I've been an only child. When we have, hopefully, more than one, then it will be really different because I've never dealt with that.'

Woods said he would introduce his children to golf, but not push them toward playing. And if he has a son in the next few years, could he envision playing with him on the PGA Tour?

'I would love to have that happen, if I'm still around,' Woods said.
