Tiger to Play All Four FedExCup Events

AKRON, Ohio -- Expect to get a heavy dose of Tiger Woods over the next six weeks unless he changes his mind.
During a teleconference for the Deutsche Bank Championship on Monday, Woods said he plans to play all four FedExCup playoff events culminating with the TOUR Championship. That would conclude a stretch of playing six times in seven weeks, with his only week off coming between the PGA Championship and the start of the FedExCup playoffs.
'My intent is to play all the playoffs,' Woods said.
There had been some speculation Woods might skip the first event, The Barclays, held at a Westchester Country Club course where he has played only three times and never finished higher than a tie for 13th.
Woods is defending champion at Deutsche Bank outside Boston, and he is a three-time winner at the BMW Championship, formerly the Western Open outside Chicago.
