The Demon Deacons led the tournament all three days. The five-man team shot a 3-under par 281 to finish at 17 under for the event. Sean Moore finished 10-under 263 to lead Wake Forest. Tennessee shot 5 under as a team for the day to easily capture second place. The Vols finished the tournament 15 under. Georgia was third at 9 under.
Florida (7 under), Georgia State (7 under), Alabama (5 under), Georgia Tech (5 under), Coastal Carolina (3 under), Duke (3 under) and Georgia Southern (2 under) rounded out the top 10. Those teams qualify for the NCAA championships, which will be played June 1-4 at Caves Valley Golf Club in Owings Mills, Md.
Individually, Dustin Johnson of Coastal Carolina shot a 7-under 64 on Saturday to finish in first at 15-under 198. Rhys Davies of East Tennessee State was second at 14 under to earn an individual bid to the championships, while Florida's Matt Every and Moore finished tied for third at 10 under. North Carolina's Martin Ureta, who finished tied for eighth at 7-under 206, also qualifies despite his team being eliminated.
