Petey got his second chance, but as you saw tonight, it didn’t come easily. Petey is definitely resilient and fighting hard for his “big break”. It looks like all the players are erring on the side of caution and don’t mind forking over some of their earnings to ensure they have an edge over their competitors during the elimination challenge. Just like others before him, that is exactly what John did when he went head-to-head with Oren in the elimination challenge. Even though he had a one stroke lead, John still wanted some assurance that he was going to make it to the next show, so he wagered $3,500 to buy a half a stroke. Well, once again, that strategy paid off and John moved on to the next show, while Oren was the latest player to be eliminated from Big Break Indian Wells.
Unfortunately, we had to say goodbye to Oren. Watch as Oren talks to Big Break Indian Wells’ host, Tom Abbott , about his reason for coming on the show, representing his home country of Israel on the golf course and his experience playing golf for money. Plus, learn what is so different about Oren’s chipping that we didn’t get to see in Big Break Indian Wells.
