Birdie Box offers new products, directly to your door

RSS

At the rate that companies pump out new and improved equipment, apparel, gizmos and gadgets, you need a full-time assistant to keep up. Enter Birdie Box, your new, personal golf-product assistant.

Birdie Box is a revolutionary idea that will keep you in the loop and make you the envy of your Saturday morning foursome every time out. And you never even have to leave your house.

By purchasing a Birdie Box subscription, you will receive a "custom curated box of premium golf, lifestyle and nutritional products" every month, with those boxes having a retail value of $100 or more.

Inside the boxes could be anything from new balls and tees to golf shirts, hats, books, cigars ... almost anything. And thats the novelty.

"The fun part is you really don't know what you're going to get," said Birdie Box COO Larry Crawford at the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Fla. "You know it's going to be good, but you're not exactly sure, so that's kind of the cool part about it, the surprise."

While this approach may seem too radical for some, it's not like Birdie Box is just wildly guessing. They base what you get in your box on profile questions and feedback you give them on previous boxes.

"You fill out about 13 different profile questions, some of them just the basic – handicap, shirt sizes, shoe sizes – and then we ask really about yourself as a golfer. 'Are you conservative?' 'Are you flashy?' 'What's your style?' 'Do you like cigars?' Do you like wine?' All types of things like that so we can kind of get a taste of what everyone likes," said Crawford. "Not every box will be the same. That's what we're really trying to do for people, give it that touch of personalization."

Birdie Box subscriptions are available for men and women, for as little as $44.95 for one month to $500 for an entire year. They are also offering a special "first major of the year" box, celebrating the Masters. For more information, or to make a purchase, visit Birdie Box online.
