This week marks the 47th event of the 2014-15 PGA Tour season, as 29 players tee it up at the Tour Championship. Each week, a panel of experts will offer up their picks from four groups of players, based on Golf Channel's fantasy game, Fantasy Challenge. We will also keep track of their scores and standings. The panel includes: senior writers Rex Hoggard and Randall Mell; editorial director Jay Coffin; associate editor Will Gray; 'Morning Drive' host Gary Williams; host Charlie Rymer and defending fantasy champion Ryan Lavner.
Group 1: Jason Day: Maybe exhaustion is due to set in. Maybe someone else is simply due, but after four victories in his last six starts it’s hard to overlook the Australian.
Group 2: Henrik Stenson: The Swede has done the season-ending walk-off before (2013) and he already has two runner-up finishes in this season’s playoffs.
Group 3: Paul Casey: The Englishman is enjoying a rebound season and after a solid week in Chicago (T-23) he appears poised to finish with a flourish.
Group 4: Scott Piercy: Another productive week at the BMW Championship, where he dueled with Daniel Berger for “B” flight honors, and in his only other start at East Lake he finished tied for 15th in 2012.
