As Rex Hoggard reported earlier today, Lucas Glover withdrew from the Hyundai Tournament of Champions due to a knee injury suffered earlier in the week. Unfortunately due to the late timing of the withdrawal, those that selected Glover as their Group 3 pick were unable to make a change to their lineup for this week.
Per his representative, Glover still plans to play in next week's Sony Open in Hawaii. Fantasy players should check back early next week to Fantasy Central for updates, though, as it is quite possible that he will wait to start his 2012 season at the Humana Challenge instead.
Fantasy participants should also note that if a player they select withdraws from an event prior to fantasy entries closing for the week, they will receive an automated e-mail alert to help make sure lineup adjustments can be made.
