Teen Star Hurst Wins Again on Futures Tour


Duramed Futures TourDECATUR, Ill. -- Teen star Vicky Hurst won her second Futures Tour title in six starts this year, shooting a 5-under 65 on Sunday for a four-stroke victory in the Michelob Ultra Duramed Futures Players Championship.
Hurst, who will be 18 on Thursday, had an 8-under 272 total on the Hickory Point course, and earned $16,100 to jump from fourth to first on the money list with $39,101. The top five at the end of the season will earn 2009 LPGA Tour cards.
Hurst also won the tours Jalapeno Golf Classic in late April in McAllen, Texas.
Australias Sarah-Jane Kenyon (65) finished second. Sara Brown (69) and South Koreas M.J. Hur (74) tied for third at 3 under.
