Lesson From Leadbetter Pays Dividends for Price

Nick Price shot a 67 Sunday in the Genuity Championship for a seventh place finish, and he attributed his showing to a lesson he had Monday from coach David Leadbetter.
'David came down and worked with me for about an hour and a half,' said Price. 'He got me straightened out, and every day it's gotten better and better.'
Price explained that at times he gets the club laid off in the downswing, in such a position that his hands drag too far behind. 'I got away from what I've been doing the last four or five years,' said Price.
'All it takes is about 30 minutes of David working with me and I start hitting it again. But it's dogged me since I was about eight years old. When it gets out of control, it's ugly.'
Price commuted via helicopter to and from his home near Jupiter, Fla., every day this week. 'What a relief,' he said. 'I can sleep in my own bed every night.'
