10 Symetra Tour players earn LPGA cards


Nelly Korda will join her older sister Jessica in the LPGA next year after earning her card by finishing in the top 10 of the Symetra Tour's money list.

Nelly Korda, 18, of Bradenton, Fla., jumped into the final top 10 by finishing T-6 in the Symetra Tour Championship.

Also earning their LPGA cards were Madelene Sagstrom of Sweden, the Symetra Tour Player of the Year; Americans Ally McDonald, Jackie Stoelting, Dana Finkelstein and Marissa Steen; Wichanee Meechai and Sherman Santiwiwatthanaphong of Thailand; Laura Gonzalez Escallon of Belgium and Peiyun Chien of Chinese Taipei.

In the Symetra Tour at Alaqua Country Club in Longwood, Fla., Nicole Broch Larsen of Denmark defeated Ally McDonald on their first playoff hole to win.
