Birdie on 18 gets Todd a share of Nelson lead

RSS

IRVING, TexasBrendon Todd knew exactly where he stood coming to the final green during the third round of the HP Byron Nelson Championship.

“Walking into the 18th green, I knew a birdie would get me to the last group,” he acknowledged. “So that was a little bit of motivation.”

Todd holed the short birdie putt to claim a round of 2-under 68 that leaves him tied for the lead with Louis Oosthuizen heading into the final round – and playing in the final group for a second straight day.
