Riviera Country Club topped his list.
And so perhaps it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that DeLaet is finding some success on a course he reveres so much.
“You can't fake it around this place; it's a good, solid traditional golf course,” he said after firing a second-round 4-under 67 that moved him to within one of the lead. “There's just no let-up on the golf course and you have to hit quality shots all the way around.”
Still seeking his first career victory, DeLaet knows it won’t come easy at Riviera.
“I know it's going to be a tough weekend because the golf course is playing difficult, but [hopefully] I can just keep doing what I'm doing and try to hit a few more greens, give myself a few more looks. I'm excited for the week. Like I said, this is one of my favorite courses on Tour and I'm right where I want to be.”
