Environmental group vandalizes Trump golf course

A group of anonymous environmental activists recently vandalized a Los Angeles-area golf course owned by President Donald Trump.

According to a Washington Post report, the group carved the phrase "No more tigers, no more woods" into the fifth green at Trump National Golf Club in Palos Verdes, Calif. The group reportedly consisted of four individuals and the vandalism took less than an hour using "garden tools," as seen in the video below.

"Tearing up the golf course felt justified in many ways," the group's spokesperson told the Post. "Repurposing what was once a beautiful stretch of land into a playground for the privileged is an environmental crime in its own right."

Opened in November 2000, Trump National bills itself on its website as "California's ultimate luxury public golf experience." The group stated it was striking back against Trump's "recent decision to gut our existing protection policies."

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is reportedly investigating the incident.
