First solo 36-hole lead for Spieth

SAN DIEGO – Jordan Spieth will go off at 12:45 p.m. ET Saturday in the final group alongside Stewart Cink and Nicolas Colsaerts at the Farmers Insurance Open.

Spieth, who is at 10-under 136 at Torrey Pines, is staked to his first-ever 36-hole solo lead on Tour. (Last year, he shared the halfway lead at AT&T National before eventually finishing sixth.) Cink and Colsaerts sit at 9 under and 8 under, respectively.

In the second-to-last group (12:35 p.m. ET) is the threesome of Billy Horschel (-7), Marc Leishman (-7) and Morgan Hoffmann (-6).

Phil Mickelson (-2) will go off at 10:45 a.m. ET off 10 tee alongside Jonathan Byrd and Brendon Todd.

Tiger Woods (-1), meanwhile, will be paired with Jhonattan Vegas and Sang-Moon Bae during the third round. They are scheduled to go off 10 tee at 11:15 a.m. ET.
