Hahn in contention, registers albatross in Rd. 2

HONOLULU – If one albatross is rare, then what are two albatrosses? It’s not just a hypothetical question.

On the same day that Joost Luiten posted an albatross at the European Tour’s Volvo Golf Champions, James Hahn had one of his own in the second round of the Sony Open.

Hahn holed his second shot on the par-5 ninth hole at Waialae Country Club from 193 yards to move from 4 under for the tournament to 7 under and safely on the first page of the leaderboard.

It was the first albatross on the PGA Tour since Charl Schwartzel dunked one during last year’s RBC Canadian Open.
