Earlier in his round, Miguel Angel Jimenez bladed a bunker shot at the par-3 17th and made a double bogey. But after his drive found a greenside bunker at the short par-4 3rd, Jimenez made up those two shots in a hurry by holing his bunker shot for eagle.
Rather than accidentally winning somebody a free Rolex by taking 16 shots on one hole, Kevin Na needed just three shots and zero putts on the par-4 eighth Friday, when his chip shot from right of the green found the bottom of the cup:
But Na wasn't the only one better off from off the eighth green. Scott Langley made birdie when his pitch circled all the way around the hole before finally going down:
