International Crown Day 3 pairings


OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Saturday isn’t moving day at the International Crown.

It’s elimination day.

The eight nations competing will be pared to five for Sunday singles. The top two teams from both Pool A and Pool B will advance, with a fifth, wild-card team, also advancing. The teams that finish third in each pool will meet in a sudden-death playoff Saturday evening to determine who advances as the wild card. Two players from each third-place team will meet in the fourballs playoff.

12:25 p.m. – Spain’s Carlota Ciganda and Azahara Munoz vs. Chinese Taipei’s Yani Tseng and Phoebe Yao.

12:40 p.m. – Spain’s Belen Mozo and Beatriz Recari vs. Chinese Taipei’s Candie Kung and Teresa Lu.

12:55 p.m. – South Korea’s Inbee Park and So Yeon Ryu vs. Japan's Mamiko Higa and Mika Miyazato.
