Ko’s birdie at the fourth hole moved her to 7 under overall, equaling Jang, the second-round leader. They were both through six holes when play was halted.
Play was suspended Friday at 6:12 p.m. and will resume Saturday at 7:30 a.m. Once the suspended third round is complete, players will not be regrouped according to scores. After a short lunch break, they’ll head back out for the final round in the same threesomes they were grouped in for the third round. LPGA officials hope to get the final round started by 9:40 a.m. on split tees again, with the last group off at 11:52 p.m. If all goes as planned, a 5 p.m. finish is expected.
Golf Channel will air the final round from 3-5 p.m.
The second round was suspended Thursday because of bad weather and completed Friday.
