Tiger Woods has been MIA from the PGA Tour since last August, but he is staying busy rehabbing his injured back and serving as a vice captain for Davis Love III's Ryder Cup team.

Love told Sky Sports that Woods has not only been texting him ideas for pairings, but Woods has also told Love who he thinks he should pick to fill out the 12-man roster.

“He’s already picked his four,” Love said to Sky Sports. “I can’t tell you who they are, but he knows who he wants to watch and who he wants to manage and who he’ll get along with.”

The top eight on the U.S. points list after The Barclays will automatically qualify for the Sept. 27 - Oct. 2 matches at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn.

Love will then make three picks on Sept. 11 and a fourth pick on Sept. 25.

The top eight players after the PGA Championship are Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Phil Mickelson, Jimmy Walker, Brooks Koepka, Zach Johnson, J.B. Holmes and Brandt Snedeker.

Just outside the top eight are Bubba Watson, Patrick Reed, Matt Kuchar and Rickie Fowler.
