Mo Martin catapulted to No. 26 in the Rolex Women's World Rankings with her victory Sunday at the Ricoh Women's British Open.
Martin, 31, jumped 73 spots, making her the ninth highest ranked American in the world rankings. Notably, she also leaped to 10th on the American Solheim Cup points list, though the next Solheim Cup is still more than a year away. The top eight Americans in points automatically qualify, as do the two highest ranked Americans who aren't already qualified on points. If the Solheim Cup were staged today, Martin would be on the team.
The LPGA is back in action this week with the Marathon Classic scheduled outside Toledo, Ohio. Martin is scheduled to play.
