Rory McIlroy currently sits outside the top 10 on the Masters leaderboard, but he's the man to beat at the betting window.
McIlroy teed off with 7/1 odds at the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook, behind only Jordan Spieth once Dustin Johnson's eleventh-hour withdrawal was factored. After an even-par 72, McIlroy is tied for 12th and seven shots behind Charley Hoffman but now an 11/2 betting favorite heading into the second round.
Hoffman, who began with 125/1 odds, now sits second behind McIlroy at 13/2 after opening with 65 to take a four-shot lead over William McGirt as he looks for his first major title.
Here's a look at the odds for several contenders with 54 holes still to play:
11/2: Rory McIlroy
13/2: Charley Hoffman
9/1: Justin Rose
40/1: Thomas Pieters
50/1: Shane Lowry
