The LVH Hotel & Casino first began taking bets on players to win the 2014 Masters last August, shortly after Jason Dufner holed the final putt at the PGA Championship. While the odds on the favorites have not changed much - barring Tiger Woods' removal from the field last week - there are several players who have gotten significant attention from bettors over the last eight months.
It should be noted that the odds were first released on Aug. 12, days before Patrick Reed won for the first time at the Wyndham Championship. As a result, while he has added a pair of victories since then, he remains one of the players among the "Field" betting option, currently listed at 15/1. According to Jeff Sherman, assistant manager at the LVH SuperBook, more bets have been placed on Jason Day to win this week at Augusta National than any other player.
