Players will be able to show a little leg this summer at the PGA Championship.
The PGA of America announced Tuesday that participants will be allowed to wear shorts during practice at tournaments run by the organization, including Aug. 7-9 practice rounds when Quail Hollow Club hosts the season's final major for the first time:

The shift in policy should be welcomed by players when the tournament heads to the Carolinas for the first time since 2012. Temperature highs in Charlotte, N.C., historically average 88 degrees during tournament week.
