GLENEAGLES, Scotland – Who is the Ian Poulter of the American team?

In other words, who is the most fiery, passionate and outwardly emotional competitor on the U.S. side?

Poulter was asked that Wednesday in a Ryder Cup news conference.

Keegan Bradley,” Poulter said without hesitation.

Bradley teamed with Phil Mickelson to go 3-0 in his first Ryder Cup at Medinah two years ago before losing to Rory McIlroy in singles. Bradley’s fire and fist-pumping got a lot of attention.

“It was his first Ryder Cup, and for a day and a half, I think he was fist pumping like I was fist pumping,” Poulter said. “You saw the adrenaline in his body. He loved playing with Phil, and they were on an incredible run. So, I think, yeah, from that standpoint, it has to be Keegan. He's embraced it. He absolutely loved it.”

A fist-pumping battle might await if Poulter and Bradley end up opposite each other in a pairing this week.
