Presidents Cup going to Quail Hollow in 2021

The 2021 Presidents Cup will be held at Quail Hollow Club in North Carolina, it was announced Wednesday.

Quail Hollow, which has staged a PGA Tour event since 2003, is also scheduled to host the 2017 PGA Championship.

“Quail Hollow Club has been a player favorite since the PGA Tour returned there in 2003,” commissioner Tim Finchem said, “and we’re confident players, fans and sponsors from around the world will find Charlotte, the Carolinas and the course itself a remarkable setting for the Presidents Cup.”

This year’s Presidents Cup, a biennial team competition between the United States and the rest of the world (save for Europe), will be held in South Korea, with Jay Haas and Nick Price serving as captains.

The 2017 event will be played at Liberty National in New Jersey, while in 2025 it is heading to TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. The PGA Tour is reportedly considering China for the ’19 event.

The U.S. holds an 8-1-1 advantage in the event.
