Pure Silk suspended; players to keep groupings

PARADISE ISLAND, Bahamas – The suspended third round of the Pure Silk Bahamas Classic is scheduled to resume Sunday with players back in position at 8 a.m.

Sixty-eight players were still on the course Saturday when the horn blew at 5:53 p.m. suspending play due to darkness. Just six players completed the third round.

The final round is expected to begin at 9:38 a.m. with the same threesome groupings from the third round going off the first and 10th tees. There will be no re-pairing before the final round, which means the winner could finish on the ninth green.

Gerina Piller (-10) holds the lead in the suspended third round through 45 holes overall.

Thirteen players are within two shots of the lead.
