Report: Ko leaving Callaway for PXG

Is Lydia Ko inking a new equipment deal with PXG?

Jaime Diaz reported in a Golf World story Monday that “well-placed sources” have confirmed that Ko will be leaving Callaway for PXG in 2017, “with the new company reportedly offering a sweeter financial deal.”

Callaway announced in January of 2014 that it had signed Ko to an endorsement deal. The announcement came before the start of Ko’s rookie season. Ko has been playing all Callaway clubs and an Odyssey putter.

Four LPGA pros are currently under contract with PXG. Cristie Kerr, Alison Lee, Gerina Piller and Beatriz Recari all have deals.
