The second major championship of the year in women’s golf will be about more than birdies and bogeys at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in Seattle next week.

Former secretary of state Condoleezza Rice and LPGA Hall of Famer Annika Sorenstam will be featured speakers when the 2016 KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit is staged Wednesday at Sahalee Country Club.

Rice will give the opening keynote address and Sorenstam will be featured in the event’s closing fireside chat. LPGA 11-time winner Stacy Lewis is among the featured athletes speaking.

“The Women's Leadership Summit is all about inspiring the next generation of women,” Sorenstam said Friday in a Golf Channel media conference call advancing the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship.

The lineup of speakers and panelists includes KPMG U.S. chairman and CEO Lynne Doughtie; KPMG global chairman John Veihmeyer; Microsoft CFO Amy Hood; Facebook vice president of engineering (building8) Regina Dugan; Concur president Elena Donio; Intel Data Center executive vice president and general manager Diane Bryant; two-time major championship winner Stacy Lewis; Olympic gymnastics gold medalist Shawn Johnson; Olympic basketball gold medalist Lisa Leslie and Olympic soccer gold medalist Megan Rapinoe.

NBC Sunday Night Football sideline reporter Michele Tafoya will serve as the emcee. The KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit will be available via live streaming Wednesday at CNBC.com and Golf Live Extra, Golf Channel’s live streaming platform, with the summit beginning at 11:15 a.m. ET.
