Royal Aberdeen, Portrush highlight '18 champ. venues

The 2018 British Amateur will be held at Royal Aberdeen and Murcar Links, the R&A announced Wednesday. 

Royal Aberdeen most recently hosted the 2011 Walker Cup, which saw the Great Britain and Ireland stun an American team that featured Jordan Spieth, Russell Henley, Harris English and Patrick Rodgers. 

Also announced Wednesday was that Royal Portrush will host the British Boys Championship in 2018, the year before the men come to Northern Ireland for the Open Championship.

Here is a full list of the 2018 championship venues:

British Amateur: Royal Aberdeen and Murcar Links, June 18-23

Junior Open: Eden Course, St. Andrews, July 16-18

St. Andrews Trophy: Finland (venue TBD), July 26-27

Boys Home Internationals: Royal Dornoch, Aug. 7-9

Senior Amateur: Royal Porthcawl: Aug. 8-10

British Boys: Royal Portrush and Portstewart: Aug. 14-19

Jacques Leglise Trophy: Finland (TBD), Aug. 31-Sept. 1
