Scott to audition replacements for Williams

Adam Scott, who announced on Sept. 17 he was ending his partnership with caddie Steve Williams, plans to use his next few starts to audition a replacement.

The Australian will begin his 2014-15 PGA Tour season this week at the WGC-HSBC Champions in China with caddie-yard staple David Clark on the bag. Clark is currently working with Cameron Tringale and previously caddied for Vijay Singh.

According to various sources, Scott will also give Matthew Tritton, who worked for Geoff Ogilvy last season, a tryout before making a final decision in January.

Like he did last year, Scott plans to play the Australian PGA, Australian Open and Australian Masters to complete his season.
