AUGUSTA, Ga. – Adam Scott has the traditional grouping for a Masters champion. He will play alongside PGA Championship winner Jason Dufner and U.S. Amateur champion Matthew Fitzpatrick, who is only 19 years old.
Scott was asked if he recalled his first visit to the Masters in 2002, where he tied for ninth place as a 21 year old.
He was paired with 1979 champion Fuzzy Zoeller for the first two rounds.
“He was whistling off the first tee,” Scott said. “I wasn’t quite sure what to make of it, but it was certainly a little more light-hearted than I thought.
“Unfortunately for Matthew, I’m not going to be whistling off the first tee, so he’ll have to find another way to calm down.”
