It doesn't appear that Dustin Johnson is having to knock off too much rust.

One week after missing the cut in his return to the PGA Tour at Torrey Pines, Johnson finished in a three-way tie for fourth Sunday at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Playing alongside his soon-to-be father-in-law Wayne Gretzky in the pro-am portion of the event, Johnson turned in four straight rounds in the 60s this week, highlighted by final-round 66.

In the process, he picked up his first top-five finish since last year's U.S. Open.

Less than two months after that T-4 at Pinehurst, Johnson would announce a leave of absence from the PGA Tour. Golf.com later reported it was a six-month drug suspension, but Johnson and the Tour both denied that.

Whatever the reality of the situation, Johnson is back on Tour, in search of his ninth career victory and his first major.

The 30-year-old will next tee it up in the Northern Trust Open at Riviera on Thursday.
