Bill Haas, Billy Horschel, Jim Furyk: 8 a.m. Thursday, 12:40 p.m. Friday: This group features some of the Tour's most consistent ball-strikers, headlined by Furyk who won this event in 2010 and has been in the top 10 twice since. He'll be joined by Horschel, the reigning FedEx Cup champ who finished third last month in San Antonio, and Haas, whose mid-round withdrawal a year ago at Harbour Town marked the only time he didn't play the weekend at an event last season.
Brandt Snedeker, Zach Johnson, Ian Poulter: 8:10 a.m. Thursday, 12:50 p.m. Friday: Snedeker won earlier this season and won at Harbour Town in 2011, but that remains his lone top-10 finish at this event and he is still in search of more consistent results after a missed cut last week at the Masters. Johnson and Poulter both enter with momentum from Augusta National, as Johnson shot 68-68 over the weekend and now heads to a course where he finshed second in 2012. Poulter was even better last week, closing with two straight rounds of 67, and will be making just his second trip to Hilton Head since 2006.
Jordan Spieth, Matt Kuchar, Patrick Reed: 12:40 p.m. Thursday, 8 a.m. Friday: The reigning Masters champ recently completed his whirlwind media tour, and he'll at least get a little bit of sleep before heading to the first tee Thursday afternoon. There he'll be joined by Reed, his former Ryder Cup partner who is riding a streak of four straight top-25 finishes, and Kuchar, who won this event last year in dramatic fashion after holing a bunker shot on 18 to edge Luke Donald. Kuchar will look to be the first player to go back-to-back since Boo Weekley in 2007-08, but he hasn't had a top-10 finish since the Humana Challenge in January.
Webb Simpson, Graeme McDowell, Ernie Els: 12:50 p.m. Thursday, 8:10 a.m. Friday: This group will rekindle memories of the 2013 playoff at Harbour Town, when McDowell beat Simpson for the tartan jacket. McDowell cracked the top 25 last year in his title defense, while Simpson has a pair of top-15 finishes in the last five years to go along with his runner-up. The final member of the trio will be Els, who is a regular at this event but still in search of his first top-40 finish since a runner-up showing in 2007.
