HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – Jordan Spieth estimated he’s received nearly 200 emails and text messages since his victory on Sunday at Augusta National, which has presented the second-youngest Masters champion with a unique challenge.

“I spent a lot of time the last couple of days trying to respond to all [of them], which is tough because I send about two emails a year,” he laughed on Wednesday at the RBC Heritage.

Spieth said he was overwhelmed by the number of tweets he received from high-profile athletes, including Dirk Nowitzki and Stephen Curry. The list was so long Spieth enlisted the help of his father, Shawn, to respond to as many as he could.

“It was hard to single it out. Luckily my dad’s company, MVPIndex (a social media index) were able to single out some of my favorite athletes and celebrities to get back to and make a little list to do so,” Spieth said.

Spieth’s twitter account has ballooned to more than 360,000 follows since his victory on Sunday at Augusta National.
