Stenson, Ilonen reach World Match Play final

Henrik Stenson rallied to defeat George Coetzee, 1 up, to reach the World Match Play Final where he'll battle Mikko Ilonen for the title on Sunday afternoon.

Coetzee birdied the par-3 14th to grab a 1-up lead on the No. 1 seed, but Stenson answered right back with an eagle on the par-5 15th to even the match. All square at the par-5 18th, Stenson drained a long birdie putt and raised his arms in triumph as he moved on to the final.

Ilonen defeated a red-hot Joost Luiten, who had yet to lose coming into Sunday morning's semifinal match. Luiten took down defending champion Graeme McDowell on Friday, and thumped Pablo Larrazabal, 6 and 5, in the quarterfinals.
