Su Oh shot a 7-under-par 65 Friday to take the lead halfway through the Symetra Tour Championship at LPGA International in Daytona Beach, Fla.
At 12-under overall, Oh is one shot ahead of Cydney Clanton (67) and Catherine O’Donnell (67) and two ahead of Sherman Santiwiwatthanaphong (68).

The top 10 on the final Volvik Race for the Card money list at the conclusion of Sunday’s play will earn LPGA promotions for 2016. Only players within the top 23 on the money list coming into the event were mathematically still eligible to make the top 10. Oh, Clanton, O’Donnell and Santiwiwatthanaphong are outside the top 23 in money.
Lindy Duncan, Maude Aimee Leblanc and Brianna Do made nice moves Friday to try to crack the top 10. Duncan posted a 65 to move into sixth on the leadereboard. She’s 13th on the money list. Leblanc also shot 65 and moved into a tie for seventh. She’s 15th on the money list. Do shot 67 and is tied for 11th. She’s 12th on the money list.
Vicky Hurst and Augusta James both missed the cut. Hurst is sixth on the money list, James is ninth.
Duncan needs a finish of 18th or better Sunday to have a chance to crack the top 10 in money, Leblanc a finish of fourth or better and Do a finish of 31st or better.
