AUGUSTA, Ga. – There will be a lot of talk today about Augusta National’s traditional Sunday hole locations and that - traditional - is largely the case.
The hole at No. 12, for example, is 20 paces deep and four paces from the right edge (it was 22 paces deep and five from the right edge last year); and the 18th hole is 10 paces from the back and four paces from the right edge (it was nine from the back and five the right edge last year).
There are, however, variations on these traditional hole locations. The fifth hole is almost in the middle of the green, compared to last year when it was in the back right portion; and the 10th hole location is just 17 paces deep compared to 26 paces last year.
