Rolex world No. 1 Lydia Ko will tee it up with another precocious teen when the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open begins Thursday at Royal Melbourne.
Ko, 17, and England’s Charley Hull, 18, are scheduled to go off with Rolex world No. 7 So Yeon Ryu at 12:50 p.m. in the first round. That’s 8:50 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Hull is making her debut as an LPGA rookie.
Hall of Famer Karrie Webb, the defending champ seeking her sixth Women’s Australian Open title, is scheduled to tee it up with Rolex No. 4 Shanshan Feng and 2012 Women’s Australian Open champ Jessica Korda at 3:50 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
